"Public standing with all-round development of PM Modi": Piyush Goyal

BJP candidate from Mumbai North Piyush Goyal on Saturday said that the citizens of the country are standing with the all-round development of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to see India becoming a "global power".

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], May 18 (ANI): BJP candidate from Mumbai North Piyush Goyal on Saturday said that the citizens of the country are standing with the all-round development of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to see India becoming a "global power".
Piyush Goyal was responding to the allegations of INDIA bloc leaders at a rally held on Friday in Mumbai that the BJP "wants to finish the opposition".
Mumbai North is believed to be a stronghold of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the election in the constituency is scheduled to be held on May 20.
"The opposition can say anything. It is the voice of the people that decides what is going to happen. Public has resolved that they are standing with (Prime Minister Narendra)
Modiji. With the all-round development of Modiji. They are with further strengthening the security of India," Piyush Goyal told ANI.
"The people of the country are excited to make India a global power. And are ready to give their blessings and support to Modiji," he added.

Piyush Goyal also interacted with the people during a morning walk at Sanjay Gandhi National Park as part of his election campaigning.
Goyal is contesting against Bhushan Patil from Congress.
Elections in 6 Lok Sabha seats of Mumbai are scheduled for Phase 5. The seats are Mumbai North, Mumbai North West, Mumbai North East, Mumbai North Central, Mumbai South and Mumbai South Central.
The other constituencies of Maharashtra that will be part of the ongoing election in the fifth phase include Dhule, Dindori, Nashik, Kalyan, Palghar, Bhiwandi and Thane.
Maharashtra has 48 Lok Sabha seats, the second largest after Uttar Pradesh.
Voting for the first four phases has concluded and for fifth phase of the Lok Sabha polls, polling is set to be held on May 20.
The 2024 Lok Sabha elections are being held in seven phases running from April 19 to June 1. The counting and results will be declared on June 4. (ANI)
