"Provide speedy registration services to people": Telangana Minister to officials

Minister for Revenue, Housing and Information Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Wednesday asked the officials of the registration department to focus on augmenting the resources of the registration department and also taking steps to prevent leakages.

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], December 27 (ANI): Minister for Revenue, Housing and Information Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Wednesday asked the officials of the registration department to focus on augmenting the resources of the registration department and also taking steps to prevent leakages.
"He highlighted the importance of reorganising the department in a systematic manner so that there is an equitable distribution of work across all the registration offices," as per a press note from the minister's office.
As per the press note, the minister held a meeting with officials of the registration department at the secretariat today and reviewed its functioning. He stressed the need to provide quality registration services to the people in a speedy and transparent manner without any room for complaints from any quarters. He also stated that the construction of permanent buildings for registration offices will be taken up on a priority basis.
"Principal Secretary Revenue Navin Mittal, Additional IG Venkat Rajesh, Jt IG Srinivasulu, Deputy IGs and district registrars of Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Medchal Malkajgiri districts attended the meeting," as per the press note. (ANI)
