These final-year students of government polytechnic institutes have jobs in various companies. So far this year, 65 per cent of the youth have gotten employment from government polytechnic institutes.
While congratulating the youth who received the appointment letter, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the appointment letter is the first step to the dreams of all the youth. The Chief Minister said that increasing employment opportunities for the youth is an important link to achieving the goal of developing India and Uttarakhand. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many historic works have been done in the fields of technology, employment, and skill development in the last 10 years.
"The youth have an opportunity to move forward in every field in the country. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, innovation and technology have been given priority in the country. Schemes like Startup India, Make in India have started a new industrial revolution in the country," he added.
The Chief Minister said that an online training and placement center has been built in the state for the students of technical education, through which students will be given training to provide better employment. He told the students that the work and experience done by you will always remain with you as your capital. "The priority of the state government is to connect the youth of the state with employment as much as possible. In the last 3 years, the state government has given appointments to more than 15000 youth in government departments. The recruitment process in the state has been made completely transparent. From examinations to appointments, everything is happening within the stipulated time," he added.
The Chief Minister said that the transparency in the recruitment process has increased the trust of the youth towards the government. This transparency motivates the youth to participate in the recruitment process. He said that during his visit to various areas of the state, people/youth are especially thanking the government for implementing the anti-cheating law. "This transparency is possible only when the policy and intention of the government are clear. The state government is continuously working for every section of the state. Integrated development is the priority of the government," he added.
He said that Uttarakhand has come first in achieving the goals of sustainable development issued by Niti Aayog. (ANI)
