'Praja Sankalpa Yatra' set to complete 1000-km milestone

New Delhi/Pulivendula [India], Jan.29 (ANI): Delhi Andhrites for Jagan

With YSR Congress Party Chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy's 'Praja Sankalpa Yatra' are set to complete a 1000-kilomter-long walkathon today.

The New Delhi unit of the YSRCP-organised "Walk with Jagan" led the walkathon today. YSRCP Members of Parliament Vijayasai Reddy and Y V Subba Reddy led the walkathon with party supporters from Andhra Pradesh Bhawan in Delhi to the Pandit Ravishankar Lane as an act of solidarity and extending support to their leader.

"Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy completed the 1000-kilometers of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra at Nellore today. People from different walks of life are meeting him to share their problems," said Y V Subba Reddy, Member of Parliament.

Vijayasai Reddy, Member of Parliament, said "We would highlight the issues of Andhrites which have come to the notice of Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy during his padyatra to parliament. Also, we will demand granting of special status for AP, Dugarajupatnam Port, the Polavaram Project and the steel factory at Kadapa during the ongoing parliament session."

NRIs of USA, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia also participated in the "Walk with JaganAnna" event commemorating the completion of the 1000-kilometer mark of the Praja Sankalpa Yatra on Monday.

The 3000-kilometer march started from Pulivendula and is reaching the 1000-kilometer mark in Venkatagiri constituency of Nellore district.

These people who were benefactors of YSR's fees reimbursement schemes are currently working in trans-national and multinational companies.

The NRIs shared their views on current industrial policies in Andhra Pradesh. Many of them claimed that these policies are mired in red tapism. They said zero red-tape investment policy is the need of the hour if investment was to come to Andhra Pradesh.

"NRIs said that they are looking for an alternative government in Andhra Pradesh and are aspiring for an industry-friendly government, but not a government that caters to the vested interests of politicians," said an enthusiastic Jagan supporter.

An NRI said Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu's foriegn trips are only being undertaken for routing his black money and has nothing to do with investment in the state.

He further opined that Jagan's march will surely ensure the victory of good over evil and his Sankalpa to work for the welfare of people always garners support of the NRI community. (ANI)
