Police Sub-Inspector fires from service weapon, three injured

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], May 15 (ANI): A police sub-inspector opened fire last night from his service weapon following an argument with his neighbour, injuring three people in the incident.

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], May 15 (ANI): A police sub-inspector opened fire last night from his service weapon following an argument with his neighbour, injuring three people in the incident.
The incident took place at Madiyaon in Lucknow over some personal dispute. The injured have been admitted to hospital and the accused identified as Sub-Inspector Amit Kumar is apprehended. He is posted at Pratapgarh district.
Police have seized his service weapon and a case has been registered against him.
"It is a personal dispute. 3 people are injured. Accused is apprehended and his service weapon seized. A case has been registered and appropriate action is being taken," said Superintendent of Police, Trans Gomti, Lucknow. (ANI)
