Police seize 490 bottles of liquor from Puducherry

Puducherry [India] Mar 25 (ANI): Amid strict vigilance ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Tamil Nadu Police seized 490 bottles of liquor at a bus stop here on Monday.

Puducherry [India] Mar 25 (ANI): Amid strict vigilance ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Tamil Nadu Police seized 490 bottles of liquor at a bus stop here on Monday. 
The police during the routine checkup of vehicles confiscated the bottles discreetly hidden at the bus stand 
"Around six packs consisting of 490 liquor bottles sealed in a jute bag were found from the spot. The seized material amounts to Rs 40000-50000," Inspector Thanaselvam told ANI.
The bottles have been seized and further investigation is underway to ascertain the identity of the owner. (ANI)
