Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) [India], May 5 (ANI): Himachal Youth Congress president Nigam Bhandari on Sunday alleged that instead of 'One Nation One Election', Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants 'One Nation No Election'.
The Youth Congress leader expressed the apprehensions of Opposition leaders that the BJP will 'change' the Constitution if it gets more than 400 seats in the Lok Sabha. He alleged that BJP leaders have made such remarks and they could not have done so without the support of BJP's top leadership.
"Apart from this, the reality of the electoral bond is also in front of the country. The nation saw how the BJP wanted to crush the Constitution. Donation has been taken from people by scaring them," alleged Bhandari.
Talking of party's performance in Himachal, Bhandari said, "Congress will win all the four Lok Sabha seats and all the six Legislative Assembly by-election seats. Youth Congress is door-to-door promoting the public welfare policies of the state government in entire state and is demanding an account of the tenure of the last 10 years of the NDA-BJP coalition government at the Centre."
In the state, the filing of nominations will begin on May 7, and the last date for filing papers is May 14.
Voting for all four parliamentary constituencies in the state along with the Assembly by-elections in six seats will be held on June 1, while the counting of votes is scheduled for June 4. (ANI)
