Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) [India], July 22 (ANI): Union Minister of Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia on Saturday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision has taken India to a new level.
"PM's vision has taken India to a new level. We are getting recognised internationally," Jyotiraditya Scindia on PM Modi distributed more than 70,000 appointment letters to newly recruits.
"The Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilling the commitment of the Prime Minister to accord the highest priority to employment generation," he added.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed more than 70,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits via video conferencing.
The Prime Minister, while addressing the appointees on the occasion, said, "During the 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav', when the country is working on the path of development, it is a great honour to get the opportunity to work as a government employee. The people of this country have taken the resolution to make India a developed country."
The Rozgar Mela was held at 44 locations across the country. The recruitments are taking place across Central Government Departments as well as State Governments and UTs supporting this initiative.
He further stated, "Under CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan's govt, there has been continuous progress in Gwalior."
Hitting out at the Congress government, Scindia asked that if the Congress government would have been there in Madhya Pradesh, would there have been an airport, railway station, or elevated flyover in Gwalior?
"Under CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan's government, there has been continuous progress in Gwalior," he said.
In a boost to the Congress campaign in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh, party leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra addressed a public rally in the crucial Gwalior-Chambal region, which is the home turf of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.
Priyanka Gandhi started the Congress campaign in Madhya Pradesh in June with a rally in Jabalpur and announced the party’s five promises including assistance of Rs 1500 per month to women of the state.
Rajasthan is among the five states that will go to assembly elections later this year along with Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Mizoram. (ANI)
