New Delhi [India], June 9 (ANI): Marking 11 years of the NDA government, Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan (Lalan) Singh hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's tenure as a "golden period" for India.
"The tenure of PM Modi in the last 11 years...these 11 years can be called the golden period...The goal he has set to develop this country and to accelerate the pace of development shows that his thinking and vision will take this country forward...He pledged to make India self-reliant. And today, India has become self-reliant. Its example was seen in Operation Sindoor...," Singh said.
The JD(U) leader further noted that development has gained momentum across all sectors, crediting Modi's commitment to making India a global leader.
"PM Modi has increased the honour and self-respect of the country worldwide...Development has gained momentum in every field," he said.
Singh further emphasized India's global standing, stating, "Now days whole world is with us. If we talk about latest IMF rating, we are number four economy in world. We are doing great things in each and every sector. We are number one trader of milk and second trader of fisheries in all over the world. This is what we have achieved in last eleven years. The dream of 2047 developing India will be achieved."
Responding to a recent article by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Union Minister Rajeev Ranjan Singh accused him of engaging in "a cheap kind of politics."
Singh remarked, "Rahul Gandhi is speaking without proof or evidence. He is raising questions about the upcoming Bihar elections, which means he knows that Congress has already lost the Bihar assembly election. He is saying this kind of thing for cheap publicity."
Criticising Gandhi and senior Congress leaders for questioning the Election Commission and EVMs, Singh added, "Wherever Congress wins, in those states EVM and Election Commission are good, but if they lose the elections, Congress blames the Election Commission and EVM for that, which is not good for democracy. They are all doing a cheap kind of politics." (ANI)
