“PM Modi will launch development projects worth Rs 19,000 crores in MP,” Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia

Speaking to ANI, Union Minister Scindia said, “Today PM Modi will come to Gwalior. He will launch development projects worth Rs 19,000 crores related to various sectors in the state. Under PM Awas Yojana, the foundation stone for 2.21 lakh houses would be laid.”

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) [India], October 2 (ANI): Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come to Gwalior and he will launch the development projects worth Rs 19,000 crores related to various sectors in the state.
PM Modi will visit the poll-bound Madhya Pradesh on Monday and will lay the foundation stone for various development projects here.
Speaking to ANI, Union Minister Scindia said, “Today PM Modi will come to Gwalior. He will launch development projects worth Rs 19,000 crores related to various sectors in the state. Under PM Awas Yojana, the Griha Pravesh of 2.21 lakh houses will be done.”
Similarly, for irrigation and for Nal Jal Yojana projects, PM Modi will dedicate development work of Rs 300 for Dabra Bhitarwar region and around Rs 800 crores for Sheopur. Nine new health centres would be launched worth Rs 300 crores, he added.
“New Industrial zones would be launched in Indore and Ujjain. Most importantly, A MEMU (Mainline Electric Multiple Unit) train would be launched between Gwalior and Sumavali. The PM will inaugurate the National Institute for Divyangs and a sports stadium,” Scinda added.
Meanwhile, he also paid tribute to father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi and former prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on their birth anniversary.
“Today, it is the birth anniversary of our Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and our former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri. Bapu had always given inspiration to the people of the country. We have to establish the aim of Antyodaya (rise of the last person). Shastri ji had raised the slogan of Jai Jawan and Jai Kisan," he said.
Today, under the leadership of the Prime Minister, India has moved forward with full determination towards both these characteristics, the union minister added.
Madhya Pradesh is scheduled to go to the polls along with four other states later this year. (ANI)
