New Delhi [India], July 29 (ANI): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday said that India's infrastructure has been strengthened under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi adding that the PM is working to provide maximum amenities to the poor and middle class.
Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said this while interacting with journalists at the New Delhi railway station after his train journey from Chandigarh to Delhi. Earlier, he greeted passengers at the New Delhi railway station and inquired about their well-being.
Speaking on the Union budget, the Haryana Chief Minister said that the 'Amrit Kaal' is ongoing, and infrastructure has been strengthened under the leadership of the Prime Minister. He added, "The Prime Minister is making continuous efforts to provide maximum facilities to the poor and the middle class, which is why today, common citizens are benefiting from these amenities."
Sitharaman presented her seventh straight Union Budget on July 23 for the fiscal 2024-25, surpassing the record of former Prime Minister Morarji Desai. This was the first Budget by the BJP-led NDA government since it was re-elected in June.
According to the Finance Ministry, the budget outlined a robust plan focusing on jobs, MSME, the agriculture sector, startups, and economic growth amid global uncertainties. It added that India's inflation remains low and stable, progressing towards the 4 per cent target, with core inflation (excluding food and fuel) at 3.1 per cent. Measures are being taken to ensure an adequate market supply of perishable goods.
The budget session of Parliament began on July 22 and, according to schedule, will end on August 12.
Saini also lauded the Prime Minister and said, "India is developing rapidly under the leadership of the Prime Minister. India is now becoming a rising, strong, and fast-moving nation. Infrastructure in every sector has been strengthened. I am happy that today, I am travelling in a train like Vande Bharat which is equipped with modern facilities."
Saini further said that PM Narendra Modi is working with the resolve of developed India and numerous new initiatives have been started to ensure that common people receive facilities promptly.
The Chief Minister further took a jibe at the Congress and said, "The public will assess the ten-year rule of Congress and will compare it with the ten years of our governance. The BJP has given new momentum to development in Haryana." (ANI)
