New Delhi [India], August 3 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded former PM HD Deve Gowda's visit to the PM Sangrahalaya (museum) in the national capital on Saturday.
"It's so heartening to see our former PM and respected statesman, Shri @H_D_DevegowdaJi visiting the @PMSangrahalaya, where he himself is prominently featured," PM Modi posted on X.

Meanwhile, Deve Gowda said that it was an overwhelming and humbling experience to visit the PM Sangrahalaya and congratulated PM Modi for conceiving the museum's project.
"I visited the PMs Museum @PMSangrahalaya in New Delhi, today. It was an overwhelming and a humbling experience. I congratulate PM Shri @narendramodi for conceiving this history project, which recognizes the contributions and diverse backgrounds of all our PMs," the former PM posted on X and shared photos of his visit.
He also expressed gratitude to Shri Ram Mandir Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Misra for welcoming him to the museum.
"I am grateful to Shri Nripendra Misra, who gave me a warm welcome to the museum. He has, with great dedication, implemented the vision of the @PMOIndia. I am very thankful to Dr A Surya Prakash @mediasurya for introducing the museum to me with great patience @PMSangrahalaya," he said.
"I am supremely happy to be at the Prime Minister's Museum. I was also overwhelmed by what I saw. For a person like me from a poor farmer's family in a remote Karnataka village, to be Prime Minister of such a great nation, and be part of a museum like this, eventually, was never part of the scheme or even my dream. But this nation's robust democracy, its wise people and the blessings of lord almighty made it possible. I am immensely grateful for everything. I sincerely tried to do good for the nation during my tenure. My thanks and best wishes to all," the former PM added. (ANI)
