New Delhi (India), Feb 11 (ANI): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu said on Monday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a 'vindictive' leader with whom even the BJP's traditional ally Shiv Sena is not happy.
"Narendra Modi is a vindictive leader with whom even Shiv Sena is not happy," said Chandrababu Naidu.
"Uddhav Thackeray is the best friend of mine, even Bal Thackeray was very affectionate towards me. I really appreciate Shiv Sena chief for extending the cooperation," said Naidu.
He was addressing a public gathering at "Dharma Porata Deeksha" a day-long fast against the Centre here in national capital sharing the dais with prominent leaders of opposition including the Shiv-Sena's Sanjay Raut.  Other leaders present on the occasion were Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister  Kamal Nath and Congress leader Digvijaya and others.
However, presence of Raut allegedly sets alarm bell ringing for the BJP ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls as Shiv Sena joining Opposition might prove too formidable for BJP in Maharashtra and may cost it dearly.
"We are having our own problems, the bifurcation act and special category status for Andhra Pradesh. If there is a democracy then only we can talk about all these things. If there is no democracy then we will not be able to talk," said N Chandrababu Naidu.
"I took the principal stand to protect democracy, to save the democracy. If there is no democracy neither I nor Sanjay Raut or Digvijay Singh would be able to talk anything which is very dangerous for the nation," said Chandrababu Naidu.
"India is a great nation with great people. I am very confident even today that if all of us give proper leadership India will be one among the top two countries in the world," he said. (ANI)
