Gandhinagar Gujarat [India], January 19 (ANI): The ancient Goga Maharaj Temple in Chanasma village, Patan district, is celebrating its silver jubilee, marking 25 years since its establishment. The grand religious event, which began on January 17, concluded with a visit from Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, a press release said.
During his visit, the CM offered prayers, participated in the Yagna and expressed his gratitude.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister remarked, "It has been a long time since I last visited Chanasma. This is a significant religious occasion, as such events bring people together. Prime Minister Narendra Modi always emphasises that alongside development, preserving our heritage is equally important."
"To realize the vision of Viksit Bharat envisioned by the Prime Minister, we must focus on initiatives that protect our heritage. On this occasion, let us move forward together, work for the progress of the state and nation, and contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat," he added.
The event was attended by Cabinet Minister Balvantsinh Rajput, District Panchayat President Hetalben Thakor, Radhanpur MLA Lavingji Thakor, former Cabinet Minister Dilipji Thakor, District Development Officer BM Prajapati, District Police Chief VK Nayi, organization officials, and a large number of devotees.
