PM Modi bows to Shaheed Bhagat Singh on his Jayanti

New Delhi [India] Sept 28 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has bowed to Shaheed Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary.

"I bow to the brave Shaheed Bhagat Singh on his Jayanti. His greatness and exemplary courage inspires generations of Indians," Prime Minister tweeted.

Bhagat Singh was born on September 28, 1907 in Banga, Pakistan.

He was a charismatic Indian socialist revolutionary whose two acts of dramatic violence against the British in India and execution at age 23 made him a folk hero of the Indian independence movement. (ANI)
