Picking ideologies from everyone: Kamal Hassan after meeting Karunanidhi

Chennai [Tamil Nadu] [India], Feb 18 (ANI): Actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan on Sunday said he will launch his own political party on February 21.

After seeking blessings from Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) President M. Karunanidhi and working President M.K. Stalin at their residence here, Haasan said he was meeting many leaders and "picking ideologies from everyone".

His on-screen friend and superstar Rajinikanth has also said that he would launch a new political party soon.

He said he would reveal his party ideology on February 21.

Stalin said Haasan came to seek Karunanidhi's blessing before the launch of his own party.

"We will have an all party meeting regarding the Cauvery issue. I have invited him and he has given me his assurance," Stalin said.

The DMK working President also said he welcomed Haasan the way he welcomed Rajinikanth.

"Everyone can have their own dreams and we won't disrupt them."(ANI)
