Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], Nov 11 (ANI): At least forty four passengers were left stranded at the Jaipur Airport, as the pilot refused to fly the plane beyond his duty hours.

Passengers left stranded at Jaipur airport as pilot denies flying post beyond duty hours

Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], Nov 11 (ANI): At least forty four passengers were left stranded at the Jaipur Airport, as the pilot refused to fly the plane beyond his duty hours.

The pilot had refused to fly the plane, citing the reason that his "duty time was over" and reported to the airlines officials about the same.

Speaking about the incident an Air India official said, "The pilot cannot exceed duty hours for safety reasons as per the directorate general of civil aviation (DGCA) norms."

While some passengers were accommodated in hotels, few were taken to Delhi by road. (ANI)
