Khammam (Telangana) [India], September 2 (ANI): Amid the heavy rainfall for the last two days in Telangana, the Paleru Reservoir and Munneru River in the Khammam district started overflowing on Monday.
Water has reportedly entered multiple homes of villagers in Cheruvu bazar with villagers complaining that the state government is not giving adequate relief measures.

He claimed that apart from the local corporator, there has been no other help offered from the state government. "In our mohalla around 20 to 25 houses have been flooded, look at our stuff, we have no help or preparations for this. Our local corporator helped us a lot, but apart from that we have no help from the state government. Our locals, our women in the area helped us, and some other people in our area helped us with food. We are requesting the government to look at us and give us some help."
