Over 1,000 crore paid to 41,084 farmers for procurement of paddy on MSP: Centre

"Cheetahs are rapidly thriving in Madhya Pradesh and the recent birth of five new cubs has further enriched the cheetah family here. The Madhya Pradesh government is going to release Cheetah in the Rani Durgavati Sanctuary (Nauradehi) in about two months too. With this, Madhya Pradesh will have three habitats for the Cheetah," CM Yadav said.

Speaking at the Assembly Media Point, YSRCP MLCs declared that the government has no reply to any query raised in the House, whether on Super Six promise implementation, massive loans, job creation, MSP for crops or farmer suicides, and is only indulging in political speeches and outright lies.

"We are going to make a major decision regarding the MSP rate for wheat procurement by the state government. Previously, it was procured at the rate of Rs 2,585 per quintal, which has now been increased to Rs 2,625 per quintal. We have also increased the time period for the wheat procurement registration," CM Yadav told reporters.

India's defence engagement with Russia will continue unaffected by the US trade deal, Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh said, underlining that New Delhi will maintain a diversified procurement strategy while accelerating indigenisation.

Responding to the allegations, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that if any irregularities had occurred in paddy procurement, the government had taken action. Referring to Ashok Arora's claim of a Rs 5,000 crore scam, the Chief Minister countered that even bigger scams had taken place during the Congress regime.
