New Delhi [India], May 25 (ANI): BJP MP and member of all party delegation Samik Bhattacharya led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad emphasised the importance of combating terrorism and diplomatically isolating Pakistan.
Bhattacharya stated that Pakistan has become the epicentre of terrorism, and India's Operation Sindoor was a necessary response to this threat.
Samik Bhattacharya said, "Our target is to finish terrorism and diplomatically isolate Pakistan. It has become the epicentre of terrorism. We have to tell the world why we had to take the path of Operation Sindoor..."
Bhattacharya strongly condemned the Pahalgam terrorist attack and noted that Indian citizens saw through this nefarious plan and refused to fall into the trap.
"The act of killing people in front of their wives was a heinous attempt to sow discord between Hindus and Muslims, but Indian citizens saw through this nefarious plan and refused to fall into the trap", said Bhattacharya.
He emphasised that India's guiding philosophy is Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, the world as one family, underscoring India's commitment to peace, harmony, and unity.
"India's guiding philosophy is Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, which emphasizes the world as one family. Our Prime Minister has made it clear that India's sovereignty and integrity are non-negotiable. We will not retaliate based on reciprocity, but instead, we aim to send a strong message to the world to diplomatically isolate Pakistan, which has become a hub of terrorism. It's time to put an end to terrorism, and Pakistan must be held accountable for its role in promoting this menace, whether it's 9/11, 26/11, or any other terrorist attack in India or around the world", further said the BJP leader.
BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad is heading the delegation visiting the UK, France, Germany, the EU, Italy, and Denmark. The group comprises Daggubati Purandeswari and Samik Bhattacharya from the BJP, Priyanka Chaturvedi of Shiv Sena (UBT), Congress leader Amar Singh, Ghulam Ali Khatana, along with MJ Akbar and former diplomat Pankaj Saran.
Similalry, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi, who is a part of a multi-party delegation to European countries, called for global accountability and a global alliance against terrorism while highlighting Pakistan's involvement in terror activities.
"Our clear message is that a Global Alliance is needed to isolate Pakistan and establish accountability. With zero tolerance for terrorism, Pakistan will be compelled to adhere to its commitments, ultimately weakening its terrorist stance," said Chaturvedi.
The seven multi-party delegations to various countries are tasked with projecting India's national consensus and firm stance on combating terrorism in all its forms. They are carrying India's strong message of zero tolerance against terrorism to the global community during their outreach. (ANI)
