Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) [India], November 11 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inspected JC Mill, closed over decades and took detailed information about the mill from the officials concerned on Monday.
Speaking to ANI, CM Yadav said that JC mill was quite an old case in which the state government was also a party, hence they decided that the government's decision should be in the interest of labourers.
The Chief Minister also stressed the government was constantly working for the better future of the employees/labourers working in various mills across the state.

"Our government wants to take along all the sections of the society, including the poor, labourers, backward classes. Our government stands in the interest of the labourers. JC mill is a very old case in which the state government is a party, so we decided that our decision should be in the interest of the labourers," CM Yadav told ANI.
The chief minister also highlighted that the issue of JC Mill was quite old but the people and labourers were hopeful even today and the state government would not break anyone's hope.
"The government's sentiment is in favour of the labourers, we should fulfil that commitment by helping them. It is a very old matter when the industry was set up, but even today the people are hopeful about it. The government will not break anyone's hope," the CM said.
He further emphasised that he would personally look after it and present the view before the High court that they want to settle and find a solution keeping the interest of all.
"I am going to see it myself and we are presenting the same view in the High Court that we want to settle and want to find a solution keeping in mind the interest of all the parties associated with it," CM Yadav said.
The Chief Minister has taken a proactive administrative step in favour of about 5,000 workers, within 15 days of assuming the office by resolving a long-standing issue of the Hukumchand Mill, Indore. The state government recently negotiated a settlement package endorsed by all stakeholders, including courts, labour unions, and mill workers, among others. (ANI)
