Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Jan 10 (ANI): National Conference leader Omar Abdullah and other party MLAs on Wednesday staged a walkout from the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly demanding Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti's statement over deaths of a civilian in the state.

Opposition seeks J-K CM's statement over civilian death

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Jan 10 (ANI): National Conference leader Omar Abdullah and other party MLAs on Wednesday staged a walkout from the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly demanding Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti's statement over deaths of a civilian in the state.

Seeking a statement from the state government, the united oppostion also disrupted the assembly proceedings and reportedly raised slogans against the killing of civilian in South Kashmir.

A civilian was killed during protests in Kudwani region of South Kashmir's Kulgam district on Tuesday.

An FIR was also filed against the killing of the civilian. (ANI)
