Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], June 24 (ANI): Today, on the first day of the 18th Lok Sabha session, the opposition planned to corner the government, and before the proceedings of the House began, all the parties of the INDIA bloc made a symbolic protest regarding the irregularities in the examinations taking place in the country, and asked the government to act according to the Constitution.
On the protest done by the opposition and the INDIA Alliance, the Uttar Pradesh government's cabinet minister, Om Prakash Rajbhar, said, "The opposition has no work left except to protest, so they will do their work, the government will do its work, and the proceedings of the House will run smoothly. The government has been continuously working for the development of the people and for the progress of the country. Those who want injustice to the public will remain an obstacle in the House."
On this protest by the opposition, Samajwadi Party spokesperson Udayveer Singh said, "The mentality of the Bharatiya Janata Party is not to protect the Constitution. That is why today all the MPs of the opposition INDIA Alliance reached Parliament House with a copy of the Constitution and did a symbolic protest so that the government knows that the country runs by the Constitution and not by dictatorship".
Udayveer Singh said, "To save the Constitution and the country, we will work to save the Constitution from the Parliament to the road."
On the exam leak case also, Udayveer Singh said, "This is a case of pure corruption, due to which lakhs and crores of rupees were embezzled and the future of the youth was played with. The paper is leaked first; many youth lose their age. The BJP is leaking the paper by making its own arrangements." (ANI)
