One dead as Pakistan violates ceasefire in Uri

Uri (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Oct. 21 (ANI): A civilian in Uri died when Pakistan resorted to unprovoked firing in the Kamal Koot sector on Saturday.

Abbas, who was employed as a porter with the army, got injured in the attack and was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The Indian forces strongly retaliated to the attack.

The incidents of ceasefire violation, which were 228 last year, have already crossed 500 since January. (ANI)
