"On what basis is he asking questions?": Delhi BJP replies to Kejriwal's comments

New Delhi [India], January 16 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party Delhi president Virendraa Sachdeva hit out at Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday, claiming that the Aam Aadmi Party chief should focus on the corruption and deaths in Delhi instead of on the attack on Saif Ali Khan.
"In Delhi, children drown in parks, die on the street and you don't reply to that. People die from drinking dirty water, from potholes in roads, they don't have clean drinking water, you give fake medicines and get caught, have fake tests in mohalla clinics, corruption in the name of setting up schools...and still you don't reply to it all," Sachdeva said while speaking to reporters here.
"On what basis is Arvind Kejriwal asking questions? First, look at Delhi where you are in power. First, answer for your black deeds and your dirty work," he added.
Following the recent attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, Kejriwal launched a blistering attack on the BJP-led Central and Maharashtra government, citing that the party's double engine government is incapable of providing security to the nation.
"This morning we got the shocking news that Saif Ali Khan was stabbed by unknown people.... I pray that he gets well soon but it is a matter of concern that such a big actor who lives in such a safe place is attacked in his house in this manner, this raises questions on the state and central government," Kejriwal said during a press conference in Delhi.
Taking a dig at the Centre, the AAP chief said that the government should stop their "dirty politics" and starting working for the welfare of the people.
He added, "We strongly condemn the attack on Saif Ali Khan and appeal to the Centre to stop dirty politics and work... You are incapable of providing security.... Start working, stop dirty politics..."
The shocking incident unfolded at Saif Ali Khan's residence in the 'Satguru Sharan' building in Bandra, after an intruder allegedly confronted Khan's maid. When Saif attempted to intervene and de-escalate the situation, the confrontation turned physical. The actor sustained injuries during the scuffle and was rushed to Lilavati Hospital for treatment.
