Mayurbhanj (Odisha) [India], Feb 7 (ANI):  A class sixth student in Odisha got pregnant after she was allegedly sexually assaulted.
The incident came to light, reportedly after the minor felt sick and was admitted in a hospital. During her treatment it was found that she was pregnant.
"A report was received about the sexual assault of a minor after which the police swung into action and recorded the statement of the victim," said Avinash Kumar, SP, Mayurbhanj.
"The accused has been apprehended based on the statement of the victim and further action would be taken as per law," said the officer. (ANI)
