Mayurbhanj (Odisha) [India], Feb 8 (ANI): A class 6 student was admitted to a hospital after her health deteriorated as she was pregnant. The accused in the case has been arrested.
According to reports, the girl was admitted to Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College and Hospital in Baripada on Monday night after her condition deteriorated at the residential school. Following an ultrasound, the doctors confirmed that she was pregnant.
Avinash Kumar, IPS told ANI: "Based on victim's statement, accused has been apprehended. Further legal action will be taken as per the law.”
A few days ago, a minor girl had delivered a baby at a residential school in Daringbadi area. (ANI)
