Nursery admission process in Delhi schools from Dec 15

New Delhi (India), Nov 27 (ANI): The nursery admission in private schools of Delhi for the academic session 2019-20 will begin from December 15. The last date for the submission of application forms in schools is January 7. The whole admission process will be over by March 31.

New Delhi (India), Nov 27 (ANI): The nursery admission in private schools of Delhi for the academic session 2019-20 will begin from December 15. The last date for the submission of application forms in schools is January 7. The whole admission process will be over by March 31.
Delhi has approximately 1,600 private schools. The government has fixed the upper age limit at 4 years for admission in nursery, 5 years for KG and six years for Class I as on March 31, as per the circular of Delhi government's Directorate of Education (DoE).
The first list of selected candidates including the waiting list will be out on February 4 while the second list will be out on February 21. DoE has informed that the subsequent list if any would be out on March 15.
The DoE has instructed all private schools to upload the admission criteria on their official website by December 14. 25 per cent of the seats in Nursery, KG and Class I are reserved for the children, belonging to economically weaker section (EWS) and disadvantaged group (DG). (ANI)
