Congress leader Shakeel Ahmed

Patna (Bihar) [India], Mar 9 (ANI): Senior Congress leader Shakeel Ahmed on Saturday denied that he was joining the Janata Dal-United (JDU).
Senior Congress leader told ANI that some fraudsters are spreading false news. Ahmed went on to say that he will “die” in the Congress party.
The speculations were doing rounds that Ahmed wants to contest the  Lok Sabha polls from Madhubani, from where he has been MP twice, but the chances have dwindled after it was found that the RJD was not in a mood to spare the seat.
Sources told ANI that only after official talks with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), a final decision on the seat-sharing will take place.
Ahmed is currently in Bihar to attend a minority conference, which is to be held on Sunday in Patna. (ANI)
