Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], June 6 (ANI): After the Bharatiya Janata Party's dismal performance in the Lok Sabha polls in Uttar Pradesh, State Minister Sanjay Nishad said they were not able to show their work to the public.
On being asked if the BJP's internal politics are the reason behind his son losing the Sant Kabir Nagar Lok Sabha seat, Nishad told ANI, "Someone who doesn't get the ticket naturally will do something or the other...We were not able to show the public the work we did. This is the reason we faced defeat..."
"Some people made wrong statements and also said that when the BJP comes to power, the Constitution will be changed. This message, which percolated down to the masses, was wrong...," he added.
