Northeast Frontier Railways to run four special trains for festive season

These special trains will connect New Coochbehar in West Bengal to Sealdah, Katihar in Bihar to Udhna in Surat, Katihar to Amritsar in Punjab, and Kolkata to Saharsa in Bihar.

Guwahati (Assam) [India], November 1 (ANI): The Northeast Frontier (NF) Railways on Friday announced that it will run four additional special trains to cater the rush of passengers during the festive season of Diwali and Chhath Puja.
According to officials, these special trains will connect New Coochbehar in West Bengal to Sealdah, Katihar in Bihar to Udhna in Surat, Katihar to Amritsar in Punjab, and Kolkata to Saharsa in Bihar.
The list includes -- a one-way train from New Coochbehar to Sealdah. This train will depart from New Coochbehar at 11.30 pm on November 1, and reach Sealdah by 10.00 am the next day.
The second train will operate from Udhna to Katihar, departing Udhna at 12.20 am, this train arrives in Katihar at 2.00 pm the following day. In return, the train will leave from Katihar at 5.00 pm on November 2, and reach Ujjain at 11.30 pm the next night.
The third train from Amritsar to Katihar will depart at 1.25 pm on November 2, and reach Katihar by 3.00 am two days later. In return, the train will leave from Katihar at 6.00 am on November 4, and reach at Amritsar at 10.00 pm the following day.
The fourth train from Kolkata to Saharsa will departs at 8.50 am on November 2, and reach Saharsa by 10.00 pm the same day. In the return, the train leaves Saharsa at 1.00 am on November 3, arriving in Kolkata at 3.30 pm the same day. (ANI)
