According to officials with Lumding railway division of North East Frontier Railway, the special train departed from Danapur station at 6:00 am with 1006 passengers on board.
TB Bhujel, a senior commercial cum ticket clerk (CCTC), said that the train will halt at the intermediate stations (or stations where there is no official halt for the train) enroute for the convenience of the passengers.
"The train will halt at the stations in which the passengers want to deboard close to their place of destination or residence. Though this might increase the overall journey time," Bhujel said.
