Noida [Uttar Pradesh], Jul 5 (ANI): A school bus filled with children narrowly escaped plunging into a canal here on Thursday morning.
The front wheel of the bus, carrying nearly 48 children, was hanging over the edge of a canal in Jewar area of Greater Noida.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the bus lost control and drove it to the edge of the canal. However, the bus came to a sudden halt, thereby averting a major accident.
The children, who are students of Agrasen Public School of Dayanatpur village, were rescued by those present in the area, after which the bus was pulled back.
No casualties have been reported.
No case has been registered against the driver.
Meanwhile, the police reached the spot after getting to know about the incident through social media. (ANI)
