"There is no warning for a cold wave for the coming week," Kamble told ANI.
"Winter has set in, and temperatures are expected to fall. When the temperature drops to 14-15 degrees Celsius, we feel cold in Mumbai. Such instances occur 2-3 times every month," the IMD official said.

In a press statement, the IMD said: "Cold wave conditions are very likely in isolated pockets over Rajasthan during December 11-16, with isolated severe cold wave conditions on December 11. Cold wave conditions are also expected in parts of Punjab during December 11-16, in isolated pockets over Uttarakhand on December 11, Delhi during December 11-13, and Haryana-Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh during December 11-16. The IMD further stated that cold day conditions are likely in isolated pockets over Rajasthan on December 11 and 12 and in Madhya Pradesh during December 11-13.
It also mentioned that dense fog conditions are expected during late-night and early-morning hours in isolated pockets of East Uttar Pradesh until December 12; Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, and Bihar until December 13; and Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura until the morning of December 14.
