Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], October 2 (ANI): Democratic Progressive Azad Party chief Ghulam Nabi Azad, who is a member of the high-level committee formed to explore the feasibility of simultaneous polls in the country, on Monday said there is no "haste" and all political parties will be consulted on ‘One nation, One election’.
"Preliminary meeting has taken place. I don't think there is any haste. Many were saying this will be implemented soon but I don’t think so because national parties, recognised parties and regional parties have to be called (to discuss). It is also incorrect to think that we will take the decision all by ourselves. It will not be done like that, everyone will be spoken to," Azad said.
