Nitin Gadkari unveils eco-friendly 'Vedic Paint' to boost rural economy

BJP MLA and West Bengal Assembly Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari on Thursday expressed confidence that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) would be defeated in the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections.

According to the sources, the leaders discussed more than a hundred seats for the candidate list. They also discussed election strategy, campaigning, roadmap, slogans, and other aspects of the upcoming polls.

The meeting revolved around accelerating key road, bridge and tunnel projects in Himachal Pradesh, strengthening all-weather connectivity and ensuring that the State's fragile hill areas receive robust and safe infrastructure support from the Union Government.

Kerala Education Minister V Sivankutty on Wednesday alleged that the Union government has "deliberately excluded" state ministers from the inauguration ceremony of National Highway 66, despite the state contributing around Rs 5,580 crore for land acquisition for the project, among other contributions.

According to party sources, the meeting is likely to be attended by BJP president Nitin Nabin and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Senior leaders, including West Bengal BJP president Samik Bhattacharya, Union Minister and MP from West Bengal Sukanta Majumdar, MP Biplab Kumar Deb, and BJP national general secretary (organisation) Sunil Bansal, Bengal election incharge Bhupender Yadav, among others, are expected to participate in the discussions.
