New Delhi [India], April 26 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Ladakh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal clarified that he did not make statements against the party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi after a post on social media falsely attributed a quote on the BJP leader's name.
Ladakh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal posted an X user post that mentioned BJP MP saying, "Joining BJP and supporting Modi was my worst decision, I was not aware of his strategy, people of Ladakh please forgive me."
Namgyal posted his clarification on X and said that he never used these words against Prime Minister Modi and his party.
"I want to clarify that I never said these words. I strongly condemn those spreading false statements by misusing my name. As a loyal BJP Karyakarta, I've always admired our most dynamic leader Sh. Narendra Modi Ji and all our leadership," BJP Ladakh MP quoted the post on Thursday.
Earlier on April 23, the BJP announced the candidature of Tashi Gyalson from Ladakh Constituency replacing its current MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal from this seat.
