"NDA govt will be stable, " BJP's Satish Poonia ahead of swearing-in of Narendra Modi as PM

Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], June 9 (ANI): BJP leader Satish Poonia expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance government will be stable and permanent as Narendra Modi will take oath today as the Prime Minister for the rare third term.
Poonia said that India is the world's largest democracy and many times a majority or a coalition government has been run successfully.
Speaking to ANI hours ahead of the swearing-in of Narendra Modi as PM, Poonia said, "...Prime Minister Narendra Modi got the opportunity to run the government with full majority for two consecutive terms. NDA has got the majority once again. BJP has 240 seats, this score is much better than the Indi alliance. So I believe that the public gave the mandate to NDA..."
"My best wishes to all the NDA leaders, workers and the people. We will get a good, stable and permanent government in the form of NDA...," Poonia added.

PM Modi will take the oath of office at 7:15 PM today along with his council of ministers in a ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) unanimously passed a resolution to elect Narendra Modi as their leader on June 5.
With today's swearing-in, Narendra Modi will become the only leader after former PM Jawaharlal Nehru, who has been elected for a third consecutive term after completing the full tenure of each previous term.
All security measures have been put in place for the mega event. Five companies of paramilitary forces will be deployed to ensure the safety and security of Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The BJP bagged 240 seats and the National Democratic Alliance secured 293 seats out of 543 Lok Sabha seats. Congress fought the election as part of the INDIA bloc and the parties together were able to prevent BJP from getting a majority on its own in Lok Sabha. (ANI)
