New Delhi [India], August 25 (ANI): The National Commission for Protection Of Child Rights (NCPCR) chief Priyank Kanoongo on Friday sent a notice to the Government of Rajasthan for gross violation of the Right to Education.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter Kanoongo shared a video of the Suvada Government Higher Secondary School of Ramsar Block, located at the India-Pakistan border in the Barmer district of Rajasthan and described the plight of the school children.

“This shed is the children's school, this picture of Suvada Government Higher Secondary School of Ramsar Block, located on the India-Pakistan border in Barmer district of Rajasthan, is enough to describe the plight of the children. RTE provides free and compulsory education to children in 2009 and enforced it as a fundamental right under Article 21-A.
The Right to Education serves as a building block to ensure that every child has his or her right to get a quality elementary education.
It also provides for the prohibition of deployment of teachers for non-educational work, other than decennial census, elections to local authority, state legislatures and parliament, and disaster relief.
It provides for the appointment of teachers with the requisite entry and academic qualifications.
It focuses on making the child free of fear, trauma and anxiety through a system of child-friendly and child-centred learning. (ANI)
