Naxal Balbir surrendered before police on Thursday

Giridih (Jharkhand) [India] Feb 8 (ANI): A wanted hardcore Naxalite, Balbir, carrying a reward of Rs 25 lakh on his head has surrendered before police on Thursday, Jharkhand police said.
“Balbir who hails from Parasnath was affiliated with many naxalites organisations for the past three decades. He had actively executed many naxalites incidents in Jharkhand’s Giridih, Santhal and in Bihar’s Jamui-Banka,” DIG Pankaj Kamboj said.
For some days, Balbir was ailing so his organisation took back many weapons from him.
The hardcore naxal Balbir has surrendered under Jharkhand’s government surrender policy. (ANI)
