The Police Commissioner urged citizens to remain responsible during celebrations in adherence to laws and regulations. Additional police force will be deployed at the major intersections of the city.
Blocks will be raised and campaigns against drunk and driving will also be run and offenders will be punished.
"Drinking is allowed at the party or celebration venue but as per the guidelines.
