Mangalagiri (Andhra Pradesh) [India], Mar 15 (ANI): Ahead of Lok Sabha elections, Information and Technology Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Lokesh sought blessings at holy places of different religions on Friday. He offered prayers at a temple, a mosque and a church in Andhra Pradesh’s Mangalagiri.
He first visited the famous Lakshmi Narasimha Temple and performed all the rituals. Then, he visited Jamia Masjid to offer his prayers. At last, he went to a church to seek blessings.
Later, he participated in the meeting with Telugu Desam party activists and leaders, organised at the Royal convention center.
While addressing party leaders in Mangalgiri, he said, “Jagan is an actor. YSRCP did not release the list of his party candidates, as KCR did not finalise. KCR is searching for YSRCP candidate for Pulivendula constituency.”
Lokesh also said that Reddy is suffering from ‘Naiduphobia’.
“Jagan once saw a cow in his meeting and alleged that it was sent by Chandrababu.  Jagan cannot live without taking the name of NCBN,” he said.
He further alleged that YSRCP leaders were caught red-handed using cars belonging to TRS in their election campaign.
“First, he (Jagan) created hysteria around MPs resignation and murder attempt on him,” he added.
He further praised Andhra Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for ‘development work’ being done in the state.
“After bifurcation, Andhra Pradesh was drowned in the ocean of problems. Our CM with 40 years of experience could pull out the state from those problems At 68 yrs, Naidu is working so hard. I am only 36, but unable to catch up to his speed,” he said.
He urged people to vote for TDP and ‘rewrite history’. “TDP has not won in Mangalgiri for a long time now. Let us rewrite history,” he said.
Lokesh promised to develop Mangalgiri as IT hub if voted to power.
“I brought many IT companies to Mangalagiri. Give me a chance to be your MLA. I will take the responsibility of developing Mangalagiri as IT hub,” he said.
Lok Sabha and legislative elections will be held simultaneously in Andhra Pradesh. The results will be announced on May 23. (ANI)
Nara Lokesh, Cabinet Minister for Information Technology in Andhra Pradesh, is contesting from Mangalagiri constituency, while his father and TDP supremo is contesting from Kuppam constituency.
Andhra Pradesh, which has 25 Lok Sabha seats and 175 Assembly seats at stake, will go for simultaneous polling on April 11 in a single phase. (ANI)
