Speaking to ANI here, Varnika said, "We expected some repercussions after filing complaint against BJP leader's son. I can't say that the transfer of my father is definitely due to the case, but if it is so, then I must tell you it has not affected us. It has not affected our lives. Many others have also been transferred."

Further commenting on the accused Vikas Barala's plea dismissal by the court, she said, "Rejection of the petition of the accused is a positive development in the case."
