Former IPS officer RN Ravi takes oath as the Governor of West Bengal at a ceremony in Lok Bhawan on Thursday in Kolkata. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday said it has attached immovable properties valued at Rs 313.12 crore as part of its ongoing investigation into Ansal Properties and Infrastructure Ltd (APIL) and its promoters for their involvement in criminal activities, including financial misappropriation and fraudulent diversion of funds collected from homebuyers.

The incident reportedly occurred on Sunday evening when a group of men allegedly harassed a girl from Northeast India and her friends while they were taking a walk in a park. When one of the girls objected to inappropriate remarks, the situation escalated, leading to her assault. The injured girl was taken to Safdarjung Hospital for medical examination and treatment. Preliminary reports indicate that she sustained minor injuries and is expected to recover soon.
