Mumbai: Remo D'souza's brother-in-law dies by suicide, case registered

Antop Hill police have registered a case of abetment to suicide against Fuzail Ahmed Khan, 34 yrs, after a medical student, Stuti Sonawane, 24 yrs, allegedly died by suicide at her residence in Wadala East, leaving behind a 6-page suicide note. The case has been registered based on a complaint filed by the deceased victim's father.

A woman fell onto the tracks at Rajiv Chowk Metro Station on Friday, sustaining severe head injuries.

The Commission has asked the authorities to conduct an inquiry into the allegations and submit relevant documents, including copies of the FIR, the post-mortem report and other records related to the case within 15 days.

Speaking with ANI, he cited instances of farmers, labourers, and online gamers taking their lives. He pointed to the easily accessible pesticide Paraquat ("Gaddi Mandu") as a major factor, stating that even small amounts can be fatal.

As per CSP Deepika Shinde, the victim was identified as Nikhil Ahakhe, who had come to stay in a house of an individual named Vinay. The official informed that the victim shot himself as he had come to meet Vinay's sister-in-law, adding that the three knew each other previously.
