Mumbai police recover lost or stolen mobile phones worth Rs 42 lakh

Mumbai Police, in a special operation, recovered more than 250 lost or stolen mobile phones and arrested 21 accused, police said.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], October 24 (ANI): Mumbai Police, in a special operation, recovered more than 250 lost or stolen mobile phones and arrested 21 accused, police said.
The recovered mobile phones, worth a total of Rs 42 lakh, were recovered from different states, a Dindoshi police station official said.
All the recovered mobile phones have been returned to their owners, the official added.
These mobiles include expensive branded mobile phones like Apple, and budget smartphones.
The mobile owners had lodged a complaint about their loss; on this, the Lost Cellphone Unit of the police took action and found these mobiles, the police official added.
The mobile owner looked very happy after getting back their lost mobile phones and expressed their gratitude to the police for this, the official said. (ANI)
