Mumbai: Building slab collapse at housing complex in Grant Road area

A slab of a building in Mumbai's Grant Road area collapsed on Thursday, injuring a few in the process.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], October 3 (ANI): A slab of a building in Mumbai's Grant Road area collapsed on Thursday, injuring a few in the process.
According to the preliminary information from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the incident took place around 10 this morning at a housing complex in United Chambers, near the Shalimar Hotel in the Grant Road area.
As per the officials, the slabs on the second and fourth floors of the building collapsed in the incident.
Officials from the Mumbai Fire Brigade, the Mumbai Police, Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport, and Ambulance all rushed to the spot following the incident.
So far, no casualties have been reported and further probe into the matter is underway. (ANI)
