Mulayam Singh Yadav's name missing from SP national executive list

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Oct 16 (ANI): Names of Mulayam Singh Yadav and his brother Shivpal Singh Yadav were missing from the new national executive list of Samajwadi Party, released on Monday.

Mulayam Singh Yadav's name missing from SP national executive list

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Oct 16 (ANI): Names of Mulayam Singh Yadav and his brother Shivpal Singh Yadav were missing from the new national executive list of Samajwadi Party, released on Monday.

The Samajwadi Party today released a list of its 55-member national executive, headed by party chief Akhilesh Yadav.

The list did not include the name of Mulayam Singh Yadav, which gave rise to a speculation as to whether the Samajwadi Party patriarch will remain the party patron.

Samajwadi Party principal general secretary Ram Gopal Yadav, Kironmay Nanda have been retained as the party's national vice president, while Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Seth retained as party treasurer.

The executive list includes 10 general secretaries, including Azam Khan, Naresh Agarwal, 10 secretaries, 25 members including Jaya Bachchan, Juhi Singh and six special invitees.

The Samajwadi Party has witnessed a political turn of events in recent the past ,with Mulayam Singh Yadav being made the party patron and Akhilesh Yadav taking over as party president.

However, there were speculations that the father-son relationship is getting better after duo was seen together at a public event here last week.(ANI)
