Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], August 29 (ANI): Senior BJP leader and former Union Cabinet Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said here today that the minorities, especially the Muslims, should replace their "fashion" of "blocking" the BJP with the "passion" for "following" the party.
While addressing the BJP Minority Morcha Membership Drive Workshop in Lucknow today, Naqvi made a scathing attack on the opposition saying that "Samanti Sultans of so-called Secular Syndicate" raised the bogey of fear among the Muslims for a long time which led this section of the society adopting an attitude of untouchability and intolerance towards a national and nationalist political party. Converting this distrust into trust is the need of the hour.
Naqvi said that this is the right time to expose the game of hide and seek played by these "Pseudo Champions of Secularism" with Indian Muslims which resulted in an atmosphere where they considered the Muslims as their fiefdom of votes.
Naqvi said that we have to work hard so that the Minorities and the Muslims can replace their decades-old "Fashion to defeat the BJP" with the "Passion to support". When the BJP doesn't discriminate against any section in terms of development then there should also not be any stinginess in voting for the BJP.
Naqvi stated that the BJP and Modi-Yogi have demolished the deceit of political appeasement with the determination to development with dignity and created an environment of development with trust by giving priority to inclusive and all-embracing empowerment. This has strengthened Bharat's stature at the global level.
Naqvi further said that the allegation of being "anti-Constitution" against the BJP and Modi Ji is nothing but the feudal attempt to "hide the mountain of truth with the bushes of lies".
"Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is the person who bows his head in the temple of democracy and holds the Constitution close to his heart and is taking forward the inclusive journey of good governance. We also have to alert the society against the communal and divisive propaganda on social networking sites, because today the "cunning and crafty masters of cyber conspiracies" are active in their nefarious design to "collect bricks from some place and gravel from elsewhere" to create and spread fake stories and misbelief which are far from the reality," he said.
On the Waqf Amendment Bill, Naqvi said that the proposed Bill will pave the way for "Constitutional Hierarchy over Un-constitutional Anarchy" and the Bill is the need of the country, religion as well as the Waqf and Waqt (time). "Amrit" will definitely come out of the deliberation going on in the JPC. There should not be any "selfish assault on inclusive reform".
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the flag bearer of constitutional and democratic values more than Nehru Ji-Indira Ji and the Congress and we don't need any "Certificate of Sinister Syndicate" in this regard. (ANI)
