MP: Two cousin brothers held for killing loan recovery agent after failing to deposit instalment of bike in Jabalpur

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh) [India], September 26 (ANI): In a shocking incident, two cousin brothers were arrested for killing a loan recovery agent after they failed to deposit the installment of a bike in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur district, a police officer said on Thursday.
According to the police, the incident occurred near Kugawan Village under the jurisdiction of Sanjeevani Nagar police station in the district on Tuesday, September 24. The accused have been identified as Aman Choudhary (18) and Uday Choudhary (20).
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Suryakant Sharma told ANI, "In-charge of Sanjeevani Nagar police station received information on September 24 evening that a body was found near Kugawan Village. Acting on information, the police team reached the spot and identified the body as Rahul Patel, a resident of Garha, works as a loan recovery agent. Based on technical details and statements of a few persons, names of two suspects came to light identified as Aman Choudhary and Uday Choudhary."
Upon interrogation, the said suspects confessed the crime. The accused told the police that they got a motorcycle financed by Rahul Patel, and he was demanding the installment of the bike for the last three months. But they were not able to pay the installment, the officer said.
"The accused have killed the recovery agent by stick, sharp edge weapon, and by crushing the head with a rock. A case of murder was registered against the accused at Sanjeevani Nagar police station in the district, and the police arrested them," ASP Sharma said.
Further investigation into the matter is underway, he added. (ANI)
